Where 2 or More Gather we BLOOM

White Beige Brown Minimalist Floral Woman Illustration Flyer.png

Nestled in the lush green hills of the San Pasqual Valley in our privately owned flower farm,  something magical happens. We don't just cultivate flowers; we cultivate joy, laughter, and a sense of belonging for teen trafficked victims and young adult abuse survivors on their path to healing. It's a safe haven where birthdays, milestones celebrations, and simple joys are not just acknowledged but magnificently honored.

Imagine a place where survivors don't just exist but truly live – a place where our flower farm becomes a safe haven that whispers to them that they deserve every bit of love and joy. Where 2 or More Gather (W2OMG) we BLOOM is more than just a non-profit organization; it is a beacon of light, a sanctuary of hope, a respite from the ordinary, a sanctuary where the echoes of their traumatic past fade in the warmth of unconditional love.  Join us as we continue to sow seeds of healing and cultivate a future where every survivor can thrive.  Together we BLOOM.

We orchestrate movie under the stars nights, pool parties that echo with laughter, beach outings that leave footprints of joy in the sand, and every imaginable reason to get together and celebrate the simple fact – they are loved.

Job Training & Development

As survivors transition into adulthood, through Creative Workshops, rejuvenating retreats, job training internships, job coaching, referrals and real job opportunities, we empower survivors with the tools, support,  job training and development services to help survivors develop career skills, including job coaching, resume writing, and interview preparation. Our aim is to help survivors find fulfilling work that brings them passion and purpose. We believe that every person deserves the opportunity to thrive, and we’re here to support survivors on that journey.

Petals of Hope Coalition

In the ebb and flow of life within Safe Houses, uncertainties arise like gentle ripples. The Hope Fund stands as a beacon of assurance, ready to address needs as they emerge – a lifeline of support for Safe Houses, ensuring that no challenge goes unmet, and no opportunity for healing is missed.

Collective we believe in the power of joy, celebration, and in reminding every survivor that even beyond the walls of their everyday Safe House, they are cherished, they are valued, and they are deeply loved, and that together we can make a significant difference.

Legal Justice, Financial Restoration

In the courtrooms of justice, we'll be the advocates for those who've been voiceless for too long. At Where 2 or More Gather we BLOOM, we understand the gravity of teen sex trafficking and abuse and are committed to fighting against this multi-billion dollar industry.  We recognize the scarcity of resources among non-profit organizations and have partnered with and work hand-in-hand with Safe Houses in and around California who are on the front lines and we understand the importance of working together.  Our  legal support program seeks to not only bring perpetrators to justice but to collect restitution for victims, ensuring they are not just survivors but victors in reclaiming their lives.

REACH

Sex trafficking is devastating lives and our kids are on the front lines of this human rights abuse! They're recruited at schools, parties, malls and on social networks by people they know and predators who "befriend" them.  Recruitment by classmates can even be inadvertent, like a trafficker asking a kid to invite friends to a party.  Peer pressure can make youth vulnerable to being trafficked or becoming recruiters.  According to American Psychological Association, the impact of human trafficking is serious, and can cause a loss of basic human rights and loss of one's childhood.  Countless children are sold for sex in the U.S.

According to the San Diego County District Attorney's Office, San Diego is one of the country's hotspots for trafficking - the FBI has ranked San Diego as one of the 13 worst regions in the United States with up to 8,000 victims per year and is a growing problem in the U.S.

W2OMG_Bloom partners with local churches, state and federal agencies to help identify victims of human trafficking. Work actively to change laws to make it harder for the trafficker to sell another human being in the commercial sex industry, and support changes in laws to make it a felony for any person who purchases another human being.

RESTORE

Restoring:   Our Safe House partners programs vary, but all have highly trained teams that work with the girls and provide programs and curriculum to help them work toward their long term restoration in a way that recognizes their current condition with an eye on their future.

RESCUE

Rescue:    Once a teen is rescued our partner Safe Houses provide an immediate home in a secure, safe and comfortable triage shelter to help girls harmed from trafficking immediately after a rescue or sting with law enforcement.  When a new girl comes into the Safe House she is given a tour of her room.  Then along with her bed and comforter, they are given a backpack of goodies and toiletries, including a stuffed animal.  According to Run 2 Rescue, the first thing the girls love to do is SLEEP!  "So many come to the Safe Homes sleep deprived, and after some good healthy rest, meal prep and eating together is a good time to to learn more about her".
